Dear Guy,
1. How simple is the simple system of company?
2. How to quantify and rationalize the "emotional and spiritual" ("motivation and ethics") factors of human excellence which build the back bone of the company?

If we model a simulator of a company/organization with the following pre-conditions and ideals,

Model_Proposal_1:
If company/organization (or nation) is a "hobby and cultural" club having evolving
(IQ->EQ->SQ) employees with continuous improvement with a motivation for contribution to civilization and continuously improving employer(s).

The "top-down" or "bottom-up" hierarchy and designations like "manager", "leader", "head of the department" are not relevant in the system.

Every team-member/stake-holder is an international consultant to do suitable role(s) as well as mutual owner of the non-human and human resources of the company.

The system shall guarantee the sense of ownership of the role and mutual ownership of
resources/assets.

The generic rule of the operation of the team members is:
mutual-mentoring->action->contribute->Learn->mutual-mentoring repeating cycles; but
still its not a middle ground of capitalism and socialism/communism.

And its not biased to any religion, culture, race and political forces.

Objectives of the operation model:
1. Faster knowledge sharing and collaborated team-work with the help of faster
communication technologies.

The Computer Assisted "management or planning or communicating" is one of the ways to
bring more transparency to this faster knowledge sharing system.

And the team members practice "love for knowledge/wisdom" and "not worrying about the
return of investment at personal level".

Mission:
Contribute the best results in one's life time to the civilization and improve to a more transparent and ethical workplace taking care of happiness of the involving members.

Model_Proposal_2:
Tom Morris's book "If Aristotle Ran General Motors: The New Soul of Business" attempted to relate Aristotle's thought "truth, beauty, goodness, and unity form the foundation of human excellence" to Business/Corporates.

Model_Proposal_3:
If we isolate the "god-centric" and "fear-the-unknown" aspects of pre-birth and post-death theories from the following reference Manuals of Human Evolution/Civilization like Buddhism, Confucianism, Bible, ancient-Egypt, Hinduism, Islam, Jainism, Judaism, Philosophies (ancient-Greek, ancient-Chinese), etc.

- How these social cultures have been surviving and growing even after thousands of years?

- Shall we derive more solution patterns from these reference manuals to resolve the corporate world concerns?

- Over the period of recorded history, many of these civilizations used to follow the strong mentoring practices with close monitoring by the experts of the domain.

Tens of Thousands of pages of information from every culture and civilizations around the world to research here:

http://www.sacred-texts.com/

Many of the corporate world theories and books may be reinventing the wheel if they ignore the derived wisdom from these ancient manuals.

Even though all these may sound subjective, abstract and ideal, we may together attempt to make some rational tables of "best practices and "do's and don'ts" or "upgradeable commandments" relevant to the corporate world.

Let us try the "Corporate Enlightenment through Applied Philosophy"!
